Thanks BoBo

I think that would work. I downloaded it and tried
Code:
psexec \\192.168.0.3 c:\mute
from the command prompt and it muted the sound.

An advantage of doing it this way is that it would be easy to pass parameters over so you could say whether to toggle, mute on, mute off (which you could do with the web server but it is more complicated).

I'll create a new script and see how they compare.

Mike

it blocked by mcafee.. :(

(how about some hard Capcha for guests?)

Yet it´s a topic worth keeping up-to-date.

... web server in AHK? Genius proof of concept, but why shoud anyone use AHK for that job? [/u]

for exactly the reason named in 1st post, with the difference that in html the ahk code may be embedded directly.

i wrote the ahk script sparrow for exactly this reason, having an ahk script which is abled to serve webpages and trigger actions in these. with no need for any "big" webserver solution like apache or lighttpd.

What I did was download a trial version of LanSchool. next, I cracked it so it would last forever.

Whalla! Now you can monitor, view keystroke history, application history, restrict apps and more.
