I just had a thought, since you're working on the ftp {could probably be done either way}. How about making it so users can pass files? You might even be able to make some way for the passed file to be available only for the user it's intended for {though I'm not sure how that can be done if everyone has access to the shared folder}. Anyway, it's just one more idea among the many you're working with so far. I wish I had the need to use this .

full detailes on plans are there, also i would enjoy some help, and yes file sending could work the same way as private messaging %userid%%filename% then the client can check for any files sent to their computer over ftp it can constantly check, i fthere i sno file uploaded an error will hapeen and nothig will download
if its there ti will download then be delted from ftp, and ask the user if they want to save it, but thats way down the line, i need as much help as i ccan get, so try to get as many people to go to that forum and help.
