Another extension of the printscreen button. This program allows you to choose the area you want to capture, save format, shows a preview of the image, and gives the option of editing in paint (hover over the little paint icon on the preview gui).

what i really want to do is give the option to upload to a photo server but I am unable to do it. If anyone is interested that would be appreciated.

Hi viciouskinid

I've dl'ed it and I find it's a good one.

To my mind, it lacks these functionalities :
1) separate hotkeys for full screen hardcopy, active window or selected region (i.e. !printscreen, ^printscreen, etc)
2) in selected region capture, integrating a zoom around mouse would really be a great enhancement
3) the GUI should be a little bit larger (on checkbox "Mouse", the final "e" is dropped on second line - using XPSP2 with W2K skin)
4) maybe (?) be able to deactivate screen darkening (it might be difficult in some capture region situations, depending on colors already displayed)
5) why not have +printscreen display a popmenu to select fastly main options. For instance, for menu :
    &1 capture full screen
    &2 capture active window
    &3 capture region with zoom
    &4 capture region without zoom
&5 toggle mouse capture [might be checked if mouse capture active]
&6 toggle auto-save [might be checked if auto-save capture active]
    &7 display GUI

where pressing 5 or 6 would maintain the popup menu on screen to select capture mode
6) enable auto-save path input in GUI
7) save last used options in registry/ini file

On the first run, I displayed GUI, hid it, and after toying a little with the script, I finally became unable to bring it back to screen, but I don't know how I lost it. Could not reproduce later. It might be worth a check.

Anyway, keep this good work going on, it's really promising
