Hello

I am using AHK to automate software installs.

Every script I use utilises the Runas command.

Authentication for the Runas command is done with my domain controller.

The script therefore fails if the client PC clock is out of sync with my domain controller's.

Is there an AHK script I can use to set the time?

Or will I have to script the keyboard presses to run 'net time /set' from the runline.

Cheers

Rob

Hi Rob,
AHK probably can do this, but NTP (Network Time Protocol) was written for exactly this purpose, is an international standard and includes security mechanisms, all of which are very important when it comes to questions such as who hacked your system? Why did they and of course, when did they do it ;)

A quick search on NTP should tell you everything you want to know. I suggest running it with user logon scripts.
