I suggest all of us Autohotkey users send e-mail complaints to Symantec.

They've got "live chat" on their website, but I couldn't locate an email address. There's a web-form, but I couldn't find a "complaint" option. When I chose "Couldn't get feature to work" (seemed like the closest option on the drop-down list to this problem), it just referred me to the live chat.

I had the same problem and deleted the UPX file.
I also found you can ask Symantec to ignore files. Have a look in the Set up options.
Obviously this is not ideal but does seem to have solved the problem.

same here symantec deleted all my ahk -> .exe
