Not sure if this can be done or not, but i have seen a few open source codes for setting up your own IM service. I wanted to make one but i checked our fourms and havnt found anything here on it yet. So i was wondering if we were going to add in a feature to do such things, or if this is out of AHKs reach. I would rather use AHK then AuotIt personaly. I checked the AutoIt forums but they only have scripts set up to do Net Send Messages but that only works for LAN not WAN.
So if any one has any ideas that would be good too. :D

There might be some more built-in network commands in the future. In the meantime, you might be able to use DllCall to do some network sending and receiving.

Thanks Chris,
I will check out DllCall and see if i can get some sort of thing working.
So it sounds like you may add in those commands later on so that is awesome! another reason to stick with AHK :)

I've not done any network programming so I'll have to learn what capabilities are feasible, and of them, which if any would be useful enough to justify having as built-in features.
