Nice script man!

Found a bug: when the list is empty, if you type "e" it creates a task without the [].

Thanks for the kind words (and also the bug report). :D

It was a quick fix - I've updated the initial post with the new version 1.11:

YATL Update - Version 1.11
  • Fixed bug where "editing" a task in an empty list didn't include the "[ ]" checkbox

Is using SendMessageProc and DLLCalls actually faster than simply using the built-in SendMessage command?

Great script. Just what I was looking for.
A couple questions:
* Are compledted tasks saved anywhere or just removed? For example, at the end of the day or as each task is checked off, I'd like to create a log file of all completed tasks.
* Would it be possible to import a list of tasks from a text file?
* Would it be possible to link a task to an associated file or url?

I'm happy to try to code the above but need a little better understanding.

Fantastic program!

How about importing and exporting?

I would love to be able to import from a csv (or text) file and if needed also be able to export the list back into a csv (or text) file so I can use it with other programs (like my palm pilot aka treo650).

I mean don't get me wrong this program is great for creating a list but what can you do with the list after creating it?

print it? ... no
export it? ... no
just look at is wonder sophistication? ... yes

so perhaps adding import / export features will make it more usable. I will definitely us it if you add these!

Thanks,
tom

First of all, this is a very nice presentation.. Excellent work..

The ONLY problem I have with it is that you can't just move it around the screen.. I am sure that is easily fixed, but then again, I am borderline retarded. I am getting better at AHK, but it's hard to find the time to focus on it, so here I am wishing for an easily added function (probably).

Again, very nice script.
