The EU tries to force Microsoft to
unbundle IE from the OS, which is is something different and btw, an old story. Remember M$ denied that its possible to extract IE from the OS witout breaking it, and what it has needed to prove it:
[Win98Lite].
b) Should Microsoft be allowed to put whatever they want into their OS?
Why not. They do. If that 'whatever' breaks any law/restriction outside the US they will get sued/banned/.. by those countries. A legal standard.
