I have an issue with Windows 7, it´s simple, the run command do not work on a script trying to run an .exe from Program files folder.

But the most strange thing is THAT SEEMS NOBODY REALIZED YET that Autohotkey have a lot of issues with Windows 7. At least not in the forum mention it (even if you make a forum search with string "Run Windows 7"), and the Autohotkey Main Page do not mention any changes or compatibility for Windows 7.

What´s going on...?, hope somebody agrees with me.

win7 is new. not even officially out and stable (it's a release candidate).
there have only been a couple minor updates to AHK since win7 RC has been released.

so use XP/vista, or be patient. or get the source code for AHK and fix it yourself and share with us. Win7 is not top priority.

You are not the only one who realizes it.

It´s weird to hear that since I think you come from an Anglo country like Us where newest technology is a most. I´m from México and I have to use Win 7 because of many reasons, one of them:

At office work we look for the most stable version of Windows for newest computers, you know, new HP PC´s have installed hardware for wich there are no XP drivers, only Vista (and you also know Vista sucks with a ton of unresolvable problems ), so we have no option else so only take Win 7. I can´t install Linux because office users don´t want.

So, realize, are you sticking to old technology or newest one with less errors as people talk about Win7. I would choose XP but can´t do it.

I´m not complaining with developer since Autohotkey is a marvelous, software, I just said it is VERY STRANGE that almost no one is using Win 7 even when you can test it legally for a complete year.
