Hi.
I have a slight problem.
When i start the bot, it opens my pvp window, jump around, and my map.
I think ive tried the various options i have with no luck.
Am im doing anyth wrong?

hey i just downloaded this bot it works great. i had to tweak a few of the settings to get it to work, and let it calibrate and etc. but i expected that.. the few issues i am having are dumb little things IE. if i put it on auto equip, it equips my fishing pole BUT if i put in Arcanite Fishing Pole it puts the /equip bla bla pole command in the chat bar but it never hits enter it just sits there... so im guessing that's just a add the enter key on the script?? not to sure but i dont think its applying the lure every 10 mins going to test it and see, and the next thing is with the Auto trash command... i haven't tried it on any thing else yet but its not trashing sharptooth in uldum so i don't know if that's even working right or if its just the fish or if im doing something wrong, other then that the 1 BIG suggestion i have, may already be able to haven't tried yet, but is can you add the red pallet in? i fish in mt hyjal all the time for the vol fires by firelands and from reading these posts im assuming it only does the blue/green pallet splashes???

the only neg i have for this bot so far is the not being able to fish in a crowd, or by any area that there is mobs in the water.. when it scans the water and it hits a mob it doesn't work..

the person above me you have to go into preferences then text options of the bot and the open slash command set it to / the one on the keyboard not the keypad... should work fine after that and it does its scans etc... give it like 15 mins of running and should start working good after that

I wish to simplify the actions of this bot...

I have a macro that equps my gear, uses the hat and casts. This can be spammed without consequence.

/equipset Fishing
/use 1
/cast Fishing

This macro is bound to a single key.

How can I tell Opie to use just a single keypress to start the casting?

I'm using it but it's not fishing nor is it putting anything in my bags.. whats going on!?

I'm not well versed in setting these things up, but when I downloaded this, my toon was jumping all over the place, opening my talents/spellbook and whispering the last person I messaged with spam >.< I know you briefly mentioned how to fix this, but if you could be a little clearer it would help immensely. Thanks.

does this fishing bot fish in fishing pools? if not is there any wow fishing bots that can?

also this shit is comlicated to get set up. this is my first time using or setting up a bot and im having trouble

Problems I have detected while using, or attempting to use this:

Menu Bar frequently disappears, causing me to Alt-F4 it and start it again.

Wont save settings most of the time, even when run as Administrator, though that does seem to increase the chance of settings saving.

The Auto Calibration will go up to 200, then 208, then 200, and so forth despite the fact that it is NOT subtracting... IE there hasnt been a trigger to cause the sensitivity to go down, yet it reverts back to 200, a test I did was to set the up and down to 4, it still went to 208 then back to 200. I am not sure if that is perhaps a calibration cap.

There should be an option to do a quick calibrate.

Otherwise, when it has worked for me it worked very well. Oh and it doesn't work well when there is a reflection on the water, and wont work at all in Moonglade.

I inadvertently started posing my own code in the thread of another fishing bot program 'Opie' not realizing what I was doing at the time.

thx for the bot!! took me some time to set up (for ppl with spam text in chat problems, check your "/" key to make sure its set properly),and to find a place to fish where there werent major color differences ..once i found that,it worked great thanks!

Finally i got it to work partually.

My problem is that it found the bobber when moving mouse while searching for it but when the splashing happnes it move the mouse away from it i think somewhere near that splash so it move it out of the bobber and miss the click. Any idea why and how to solve it?

BTW what is the tested resolution? it just says that my (1280x1024) is not been tested but not which one was. I tryed it on 1024x768 because its the most common but i am not sure which is right.

FInally, its pretty good script. I am impressed but a bit hard to get it to work.

Is there a way to correct it from saying loot window not found? It catches fish, but then always says loot window not found, and after a few errors, it stops working.

you can't use mods that change the loot window's look

If you get the loot window not found error, it's probably because you have Opie set to expect the loot window at the cursor. Disable that in options and it should be okay. Same thing happened to me.


Now what is happening for me is as soon as I start Opie it says that it's paused. I had it set to equip pole and lure, but I turned that off to see if maybe it was bugging on that. But no luck.

It was / does work until I have to interrupt it, then it stops working entirely.
