Ah OK I see. But the sending of the up and down keys is working correctly?

So, you want to use something like Send (but NOT to the active window), and ControlSend isn't working, right?

Can I just check - when this game window is 'not active', is it minimised or just 'windowed' behind whatever IS the active window? I.e. is it a full-screen game that you are alt-tabbing out of (for example) and you want to leave this script running sending keystrokes to that game window? The only reason I ask is that some games and apps will ignore input when they are minimised - if this is the case, have you tried doing this while the game is in 'windowed' mode and not minimised, to see if you can send keys to it?

It's no guarantee that even this will work. Also, you may want to try to see if you can get PostMessage / SendMessage working, see if that does what you need.

I found this old thread that seems to be a similar issue to yours, with some input from Chris that may or may not help.
