Not sure if this has been requested already...

The ability to do some simple formatting on a ListView Row/Col would be great.
I'd like to be able to set a Row's font to italic, bold, or plain.

Although it might happen someday, I believe setting specific rows or columns to a different font/style than the rest of the ListView would require quite a bit of extra code size and complexity. Therefore, it probably won't happen anytime soon.

Consider alternate ways of bringing attention to certain rows or columns, such as putting a different icon in them, making the text all caps, inserting special characters such as asterisks, etc.

Had the feeling that *any* additions to the List View would be rather nasty for you to implement (unless they were already supported by the control).

Haven't looked at adding icons to one yet, but changing the appearance in the ways you've suggested are good tips.
