its obvious why he thinks he is writing a virus and wants to block users ability to edit his code or stop it

he is of course an idiot

so lets add word excel access outlook IE firefox chrome dreamweaver........... to the list of blocked tasks

sysedit
seriously
what the frag is wrong with you i gave you the info to look at you insist on being rediculous and using safe mode

now log in as administrator and do it the right way or go sit on the long end of a broom :evil:

Couldn't help but reply to tanks funny response =\

He has no security tab because hes in XP home, which disables it. Safe mode allows it, it just trying to get people to use XP Pro. Same thing with group policy not being enabled in home, just in pro.


Note to author of thread, people can boot CD's and USB's, so NTFS security isnt foolproof. They can rename notepad.exe to whatever they want, etc.

No such thing as being secure.

I remember when mac users got their first small virus, they were flying in circles around the forums screaming "What do we do?!?!", "Is there anti virus or something?"

Apparently they use windows machines too, or they wouldn't even know what a virus was, much less anti-virus =)
