Many people have microphones attached to their computers. There should to be a way to record the sound input and check it against a file, or bunch of files. This would allow you to say 'notepad' to activate/run notepad.

There should also be a feature to save voice to a file for use in the above feature.

Also it would be interesting if AHK could check the ammount of sound the computer is putting out. This could be used to record voice (fom voip) while you are away, without recording five hours of silence.

I agree this would be a cool feature -- and although its unlikely this will be a built-in feature anytime soon, perhaps there is a utility (or will be someday) that can be integrated -- similar to how WinLIRC allows handheld remote controls to become hotkeys of a sort.

There is probably some way to do this with DllCall but I don't know how. I seem to remember that there are some command line utilities to do it, but I don't remember the specifics.
