I recently got my Netflix account back after giving them a few years... A lot of great shows are online now and I have been catching up on shows that I never gave myself time to watch before. I caught up on the entire "The Office (US)" series (except for latest season which is not yet there) and I'm making my way to the third season of Dexter after only just a few days. I have found a lot of great shows that I never quite gave a chance to before.

I need more recommendations to great shows. It's only a matter of time before I make it through all the seasons of Dexter and I want the next show to be great too. What do you all think?

The Big Bang Theory, Through the Worm Hole with Morgan Freeman, and Sci-Fi Science are really the only shows I watch.

Heh, The Colony season 1 was pretty good, although extremely fake. It was still interesting to watch.

I go more for comedy myself. (although I'm from the UK so some of it may not travel too well.)

Trailer Park Boys. (Funny from the start but really gets going about series 3. You won't be lost if you start there and watch the first two later on)

The Armando Ianucci Shows - Armando Ianucci has been a producer of comedy for ages and is very funny himself.

Black Books

Nathan Barley

Cyderdelic

I have no idea if any of these are on Netflix but they're well worth checking out.
To give you an idea of the type of comedy, The Big Bang Theory makes me want to punch myself in the face (sorry Eedis)

Ahaha, classic. I still love how the movie Knocked Up actually has quite a few of the cast members from Freaks and Geeks.

To OP, Numb3rs is a fun show. Atleast for me since I love math.

I missed an obvious nerdy one:

Star Trek (the original, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, & Enterprise)

Here are a few random ones:
Andromeda (SYFY tv show)
Archer (FX series)

Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura

some things are just pathetic, but he also brings up a bunch of good/interesting points.

The Wire (HBO). Truly excellent.
The Sopranos should keep you busy for a while.
