So, ffs stfu...

...telling me to STFU is really uncalled for. I just mentioned the typo & I was not mean about it...if I -- or someone -- don't mention the incorrect spelling, how is ANYONE supposed to know its wrong??? It gets read & copied/pasted all over, soon everyone thinks it's "correct" that way, especially if it's included in "official" software & in their docs.

FYI, I just checked and they have fixed the spelling.

...EXACTLY...they fixed it!!! Congratulations, that's great! Would they have ever noticed without me mentioning it? Probably not.

I don't understand all the personal attacks against me about this...YES, there are "bigger problems"...I never said this was the most important thing in the world...but still, it's a little problem, that gets bigger, the more people that copy/paste & keep the spelling incorrect (not even noticing it's incorrect). If everyone ran my Hotstring script above (or if it was in the default script), no one would ever get it wrong again!

Just to clarify, I did not mean to offend guests that are posting, my point was that being anonymous tends to make arguments even more heated. It might also be the case that some people "hide" behind guest nicks when they want to post some things, I don't know.

And the discussion would be different, and to try to win an argument with "It is like this, DEAL WITH IT", especially after having won (in a way, since they did change the spelling, yay!) an argument against someone saying specifically "deal with it"... pssk.

It would be great if someone (who knows how) could/would write a patch
to make much needed improvements to the Notepad2-mod AHK syntaxhighlighting -
which I find to be quite lacking.

The Np2-m publisher has told me someone (other than the publisher)
has to create/submit such a patch to improve the AHK synhiliting.
I have no idea how to create such a patch.
I do have a NP++ userdefinelang.xml and/or a SciTE ahk.keywords.properties
that could be used as the basis for Np2-m AHK synhiliting ...

p.s.: I prefer/use AHK and AutoHotKey

Notepad2-mod 4.2.25.705 has just been made available and has much improved AHK synhiliting
and has the promised built-in aviSynth syntax highlighting ...
I was using Perl synhiliting for avs (& still do in other syneditors) ...
