Probably someone has already asked this but I couldn't find it - is there any solution for running two versions of autohotkey on the same machine - for example to enable easy switching of version. This is a common functionality for languages like python or ruby where you have versions of the language that are not very interoperable.

AutoHotkey is portable so you can have multiple binaries on the same machine, for ease of use could for example specify a specific extension (*.ahkl) for AutoHotkey_L.

See the discussion and various solutions posted here http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/viewtop ... t=ahkl+bat (majkinetor's would be my personal favourite)
