I chose Firefox but end up finding myself switching back and forth between Chrome, Opera and Firefox depending on how I feel at the time. But I usually end up going back to Firefox for some extension which is why I chose Firefox in the poll.

Related.

Me, I use and chose Opera.
I've been using Maxthon 3 which is dual engine (Chrome & IE) as my backup for a while. I also use Maxthon 2 if I want more features then 3.

?

This poll is kind of an odd way to gauge that, don't you think? IE's not my normal browser, no, but if I want to be able to use the speed of automation for certain things then I use IE. I'm bi-winning.

Like sinkfaze I use different browsers for different tasks. My main is chrome, but I will use IE for automation or firefox for web development and site information.

Good luck, whelp. :)

Of course I will bring forth my opinion - Chrome is superior, mainly due to its' sleek design. It takes almost no screen space, and Google helps me go to the sites I am looking for, faster - using the omni search field. I just start typing, and get the completion based upon my browsing history (typing "a" brings me Autohotkey.com, of course), and if I want to go somewhere else I just type the search words in the omnifield and get tossed at the google results page.

I sometimes use Firefox or Internet Explorer, but frankly - I prefer Chrome so much so if I am forced to use for example Firefox, I will try my utmost to switch back to Chrome, simply because I find it easier to navigate. And obviously I am now more used to it, aswell. [/b]

Chrome = Malware:
-- Installs background services you can't easily kill
-- Sets these services to restart if you DO kill them
-- Runs 24/7
-- Calls home every 4 hours
-- Gotta jump through hoops to turn off the 'I callz home every leeter u typez"
-- Installs in an unprotected directory just so it can update even if you don't want it to
etc/etc/etc

That's what you get if you download the version they push and not a stripped-down installer.

Lets not get into a browser war, tank already said none of that.

Guest obviously can't be argued with becase s/he is hiding behind anon mask.

We all know how pointless browser wars are - you just run around in circles, shouting "Chrome is fastorz!" or "Firefox FTW!" or "Losers, y'all need OPERA!!!", and never even listening to the other's opinion.
It's one of those things like religion you can't debate, because the debate gets too heated and/or you say your points repeatedly without listening to others.

tank, you're fighting an uphill battle...

So, who here likes cookies?

Not starting a browser war. I didn't mention any other browser in my post. I just stated the facts about Chrome.

And Guest is as good a nickname as any :P

My Favorite Browser is not listed: Firefox

(omg, when you are making a poll, can't you please spell it correctly??? "Fire Fox" != "Firefox" {can you or someone edit the poll?})

That's the funny thing about anons, they don't tend to get listened to, especially when they choose to nitpick things that are immaterial to the issue being discussed.

K-Meleon 1.6 for almost anything, blocks most ads etc., sometimes Opera when some ads/flash are needed and sometimes TheWorld browser 2.4 to download files with the correct date/time where Orbit fails.

I disagree to NimdA, the very point of a discussion is to listen - What do I gain from converting someone else? However, for me there might be gain, if I happen to realize another browser is better.

Guest does have a few points.

I heard "Iron" was better? I think that was the name, open source based on the same project that made chrome, but without all the crap and "Google owns you" stuff?
