It's possible that I found this through a post here, if so sorry for the repeat.

This simple icon maker lets you drag an image onto the gui and it automatically generates an icon file. It couldn't be easier.

I dont know how this relates to AHK, my post and your post but ...

I put a context menu option into explorer for certain types of images, i right click and go convert, it then pulls up a dialog box from ffmpeg for a split second.

It's my understanding this section is for posting helpful utilities other than AHK. Isn't that correct?

Anyway I use this frequently to make icons for my AHK scripts.

Hmm i guess your right it doesnt refer specifically to AHK programs.

Thanks Nimda - seems really useful will give it a try - I am wondering what size icons it makes automatically 48 96 etc but will soon find out.

ok this was on the web site:
This program generates down-sampled 32x32, 24x24 and 16x16 levels automatically. It will also generate the 128x128 level if your source image is equal to or larger than 128x128.

also it needs NETframework 2 (luckily I have it)
