Even a mod calls a user a troll here. How nice.

This section is for wishes for this place, noting else. So I talked about wishes for this place, not mine.

Guest is correct. Not that I condone the responses, but you are allowed to wish. And all other forum members are allowed to ignore the wish as well. Continually provoking an argument shows immaturity - no matter which side.

Do the facts of your behavior disturb you? You've had many opportunities to change how you behave towards others and you have nonetheless consistently rebuffed such opportunities. If you don't wish to be thought of as a troll, quit acting as one.



All other forum members are allowed to comment on the wish as well, which is the whole point of the Wish List forum, to get input from users on such wishes. If "Guest" didn't want to confront the reality that other users here would not like the wish, perhaps it shouldn't have been posted to begin with.

I think the troll guest is offended by the socialistic nature of the forum comminuty. It's not everywhere you find a community actively giving their time and effort for the benefit of total strangers without any material compensation and often without immaterial compensation as well.

So troll guest is trying to attack the essence of the community by fomenting judgmentalism, prejudice, and discord...

this thread is going nowhere. it is now way off-topic. and IMO, it's pretty clear no one is going to make Guests request.

should this topic be locked to try and stop another massive argument with Guests?

This should be moved to "General Chat", sigh.

Seems to me that the problem is the not-so-distinct line between discussing and arguing, debating and deliberately angering your opponents. It is crossed both ways: innocent users are accused of "trolling" and trolls can claim they are trying to have a rational discussion (and the lack of a "line" makes it difficult to "disprove.")

Also, aiming at a specific person instead of discussing the topic provokes the other and, out of nowhere, the word "troll" pops up, and both sides are angry.

As a general rule of thumb, if you find yourself constantly arguing on this forum, with people angry at you, you might be a troll.

(Notice how I'm not pointing my finger at anybody? Hopefully even if people don't agree with me they won't be mad, so to speak.)

Yes please lock or general chat or something - it's obvious that we are both offtopic and that the suggestion will not be implemented on this forum. I would encourage the OP to start a new forum; I was really hopeful about the upgrade to PHPBB 3 and there are several improvements that I'd like to see which are not possible in the current system. Perhaps you could use another TLD like AutoHotkey.co?

I really wish this. There are so annoying users.

I would encourage the OP to start a new forum; I was really hopeful about the upgrade to PHPBB 3 and there are several improvements that I'd like to see which are not possible in the current system.
