 Post subject: Writing to hosts file

Is it possible to write to the hosts file? I want to create a gui to make it easy for people to write to the hosts file so they don't have to go on a mission. I also want to be able to check to see if the IP already exits.

i don't see any reason why not.

btw. the current path to hosts can be found in the registry:

actually what I want is to search to see if a an entry has already been added.

yes possible, too.
i don't see a problem, unless you don't know FileRead, FileReadLine and IfInString .
