For those of you looking into replacing your shell with your own AHK made shell, you will find the following program handy.
It provides the system-tray functionality normally provided by explorer and it's free, kindly provided by am-productions.

That's really interesting, I've been trying to get rid of the the taskbar completely, but i haven't been able to because of the system tray.
how could i incorporate this into an ahk script, since it's a separate app? |

Now that i look at it, mine's doing the same. It shows wireless network icon, google desktop, and my webcam software, but nothing else, like power, sound msn etc.
Not a great substitute, but the only one i've ever seen. |
