That might be, since the toolbar script might not have been in the right folder (or I might have disabled that function in that version, since it wasn't ready yet). You can activate the Alt+F9 shortcut in PSPad via the preference dialog (File->aRun4) add the toolbar script to the external programs in the ahk highlighter settings of PSPad.

Did PSPad run at that moment? It is required to run before you start the toolbar script.
As you can see from the above posts, other users can use it correctly, so there must be something special with your system that doesn't allow it to run. Sorry, but I can't help you on this, since i can't reproduce it. Good luck.
