Alright well I have modified the code slightly to run everything else on the alarm. Well, everything else that can be done through the "Run" prompt. I know I really didn't do much, but my point is coming up later.

I just removed the error trapping from the code. Basically, "commented" the lines 55 through 68 & lines 85 through 97.

Now, here comes the interesting part. I can use the program VoipBuster, and use VOIP to call my landline. Now I can have my computer call my land line to use as an alarm to wake up! Good for those afternoon naps.

I know you can do this with Skype, but VoipBuster allows free Voip to Landline calls if the call is less than a minute long.

I just use the "callto:001XXXXXXXXXX" format in the alarm program.
