I guess it makes sense to keep the previous "RuntimeEngine" aka AutoHotkey.exe with an update/upgrade by default (simple renaming eg. Autohotkey.old).
If a bigbug in a new release occurs, the user is still able to "downgrade" this way to keep things (eg. processes) up and running.
Or provide the prevoius release @ the download page as well. |

| I'll see if I can put this into effect soon. Btw, newly added features are thorougly tested on WinXP prior to release. And most old features are retested via a comprehensive test script to help ensure that nothing else has been "broken". |

As I've checked today every hour for a new release (which Chris - the master of support delivers frequently ), I thought to myself if it would be usefull to have a timestamp to the datestamp on the downloadpage. Am I wrong |

| I try to keep the new version numbers and release dates to once a week at most. In the future, it will probably be less frequent since most people don't want to have to be updating their software so often. |

I don't mind the frequent updates, we don't have to wait for the next release to get a fixed bug.
thanks,
