Windows 95/NT support font smoothing to display better text under hi-color and true color modes. But the renderer uses hints (raster font) for font sizes ranged from 6-14 point by default. TTFGASP (a Win32 console program) can add a "gasp" record to a true type font to force smoothing of the font in any size. Download free TTFGASP with source code (in Delphi 2.0), for advanced users only.
