Ok, first, anyone, that was unnecessary, lets be friendly here.

duece, duece600 and duece00:

(please have more patience, don't post "any1" 2 hours after your last post, many of the forum users have different schedules, like some that live in Europe are probably sleeping)

I am a bit confused about what you want. You want to send a message to a user if she is online for a certain amount of item? Or do you want to say send a message in 30 minutes if she is online at the time?

In either case, you might look into imagesearch, you cold probably search for the online/off-line icon, and her name, and use a timer to wait for a certain amount of time.

Good luck!

if you use AIM, and you send a message to someone offline, it will pop up on their screen when they log in. It sounds like you are trying to do that?

I haven't noticed any scripts yet that deal with Yahoo messenger. If I had it installed, I'd try to help, but I don't want anything to do with Yahoo if I can help it.

You might be able to key off the little window that pops up in the corner when someone logs in. Does it register in the Window Spy? What does the window spy show in the messenger main window?

Are there any webpages you can go to that tell you if your friend is online? URLdownload to file may be able to get that info.

the rest of my questions still apply - does the window spy program show you any user names in the yahoo messenger window? it might not, but it's a good place to start

you might have to play with image search then to see if you can detect when they come online. you may also be able to detect when they send you a message by the window popping up and then "you" could reply

also, you'll want to look at settimer so that your image search can happen every minute or so.
