Kaspersky Anti-Virus scared the crap out of me because it made some weird noise and a red box reporting a found trojan popped up with a whole bunch of things relating to things like autohotkey.exe...

Also Kaspersky blocked like UPX in some old script I found involving KDE-Like stuff or something (maybe it wasn't old I'm not sure).

I'm going to report this on their forums as well.

OMG, can you ppl stop posting this kind of "bugs" ?

We all know UPX is responsible for false alarms. ANd thats not all. I even got a message one day that rar archive containing sevaral AHK scrripts is a virus...

So... whats the point and what Chris should do about it ?

Get a better AV. Norton doesn't give me any problems.

Obviously nothing, I'm just putting this out there as another, I didn't request any help anyway.

Then its OK but I beleive General CHat is then more appropriate

Anyway, I didn't have any problems with NOD32 so far. The best AV IMO>

majkinetor is right: that's not a bug report, not an AHK bug anyway, so it doesn't belong here. The info might be interesting for some people, but you could have put it in one of the two already existing "bug reports" on virus that were raised recently: Virus ? or AntiVir False Positives with EXE made with AHK 1.0.46.08.

Surprised

Username showing in green ( like PhiLho ) means a moderator!

I am moderator since some months now, but I didn't advertised the fact and I wasn't "green" up to now...
Most of the job is to remove the spam (there is less now, it was my main motivation for being moderator) and now to move topics from Scripts & Functions to Ask for Help...
Nothing very funny, but I like neat things (maj' might disagree...).
Oh, and I know who is hiding behind some unregistered nicknames, but I respect privacy, of course.

I doubt that, Skan joined well after BoBo. He has hinted that he uses the aliases Grumpy and Helpy but you can never be sure (it could be PhilHo being unprofessional). iirc BoBo didn't register because someone took his name and his computer can't accept session cookies (LOL). Morphy, our resident troll, has made a thread dedicated to this.

Me 2. You would never guess who is BoBo... never. Its not Scan anyway. Scan can be simply detected by to much "dear" in the post Razz

That explains why. I am half-daltonist. Can't recognise difference between computer green and computer yellow. I had to tweak ZUMA Deluxe game to change ball colors so I can play it... Cool

Kasperki is a bad AV, they just made a good marketing job, that's it.
Agreed on NOD32, great AV

Back to topic... I didn't knew NOD32, never saw it mentioned in computer magazines. I found it easily on the Net. Not free, unlike Avast, but if effective, it might be worth buying it.
