Gtalk's notification popup is identified by

ahk_class Google Notification

but I'm not able to get any text or identify any control in it, so I'm assuming it's using some custom controls.

So has anyone done this before or have any idea how to about it, other than the OCR method?

notification for email, or for IM? GTalk has both. I can't try anything until tonight, but I'm just curious.

It's probably hard to get.

well, gtalk, i think is kinda special case..i tried to that with windowspy, to find out what window to affect. but i didnt get any lusk. i am interested in this too...you could probably could control computer remote, giving commands easily from web page, not needing any special software or geting into trouble.

i will be following this topic if something come up useful.
thanks.
