Is there a way to read a web page and to have the Text of that page put either in another webpage or just in a Text pad or Word that can then change the font to a larger size?
Example: My wife has a vision issue, she can see.. but small fonts in some colors really mess her up and she can not read them. (Even with my 22'' Wide Screen on 800x600 with the large font setting)
There is one site that i know of off hand that will not allow you to use the built in text size enlarger that is in IE6 and what not. that site is http://www.popsci.com/popsci/index.html
If there is some way to read a page like this and put the text into a text pad or word pad or just MS Word would be awesome. any ideas?

Firefox will change the size of text on that page.

EDIT:
IE7 does not. It does allow to zoom the entire page though.

also Ctrl WheelUp and Ctrl WheelDown.

she shouldn't have to be "taught" firefox, unless you have restrictive extensions installed.

It reacts very slowly for me doing it that way. Do you notice a difference between Control + and Control Wheel Down?

EDIT:
Not on this site, but on the popsci page above. Probably cause it is more complex site.

EDIT EDIT:
Control + and Control Wheel down seem to use different scaling ratios, that is why there is a difference.

Hehehe.. shouldn't is the key word there Wink lol she is not a very savey tech PC user. When testing out Vista she hated the Tabbed Browsing so that is one reason i have not gone with FireFox on her profile in XP.

and trust me she knows all about the Ctrl + and the Ctrl and mouse wheel to make the font larger in IE.. but it only gets so big and with her eye issues sometimes that just is not big enough. the built in Maginfier in XP is cool, but she doesnt like having to deal with that all the time.

So no one has any ideas on maybe useing FileRead to read a web page and parse out the info that is not the HTML codeing into another page or word doc?

Firefox does not have any limit to increasing the size. If she doesn't like tabs, set the preferences to open new windows instead of new tabs.

It's not worth your time to try and extract and inflate the text on your own.

hmm how long has IE7 been actually out & working? As a net Admin I do not trust Microsoft programs till they have been out for over a year and have had a few service packs for them.
I still run IE 6.02 for a more secure connection then the IE7 with all it's flaws. But thanks for the info on that.. i didnt know that the Microsoft is getting with the game finally.
