I've been sitting around hoping that someone would release an AHK Mod to support the logitech G15s G-Keys, or that Logitech would fix there drivers for a long time...neither seem to be coming about any time soon.
So, i'm looking for any AHK Guru to build this for the G15 users, and i will help by running any tests/providing any information about the G15 nessacery, i'll even allow you to remote control my PC
I know this is a bit of a lame "I want you to do it for me" thread, but i really don't have the knowledge to pull off this kind of thing, and there are alot of people who would love AHK to have this functionality.
If your wondering what the G15 is, its basically a keyboard designed for gamers, it has an LCD Display, and an extra bank of keys called G-Keys. These do not register as normal keys. as of yet AHK cannot pick them up. They can only be bound to keys that are already on the keyboard. Which makes them kind of pointless. So if anyones willing to accept the task, please contact me and i'll run any tests you need done.
If your intrested, please email zshadowz@hotmail.co.uk (this is my sorta spam address, because if i posted my real address i'd probably have 4861234 viagra adverts in my mail tommorow morning) Once you email me i'll provide you with my other info, i have MSN, Skype, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, Google talk, IRC and Xfire so i can communicate with you in any way you prefer.
Thanks for your time.

I was thinking the same thing today, Im a logitech user myself and I was curious about the G keys. These keys are keys that you can assign macros with built in with the keyboard. Very handy equipment. Im sure there are some type of script out there thats already handled with the G keys. _________________

well, I was trying out allsorts of things,
The most simplest way was, make the G11/G15 send hotkeys such as CTRL ALT f1 and have a script pickinng up those keys...
I tried to do a more intresting versions, ie mkae autohotkey recognise typed sentences from the g11, but it didn't work because the G11 program sends the keys too quickly....
I would be intrested in any alternatives though..
p.s the beta webpage doesn't seem to be working//? _________________ And i say: where there is a problem , there is a solution.(well some where that is.)

iirc, you can set a delay in the G15 software, so instead of sending the keys almost at once, insert a small delay so AHK can register it as a hotstring? _________________ [Join IRC!]
