16x16:

24x24:

I'm working on hotstrings for these. The 24's are the ones I'll be using, being as they look best, but if you prefer there's the 16's too.

Important-looking note: If the bandwidth on my host ever happens to spike and I need to ditch a few things to come to par, these things aren't too far up on the list of things to keep. Don't worry, though; I'm not expecting anything like that for a long time.

I only made that note so noone would get mad at me if I did have to, at some point, do that. I don't think it'll happen though. Of course, there's also the chance that noone but Rajat will use these. I guess if someone wants to post them to your site, that's fine, but I'm too lazy to do it.

Very funny. FYI, I'm merely deliberating between this, my previous one, the watermelon, and moe.

These are very nice. Unfortunately they show a little square in IE6.

That's strange. It probably has something to do with the way Titan implemented the transparencies. It's hardly noticable, though. A quick solution is to switch to a real browser.

And yes, I do mean "real." I don't consider a browser to be real if it doesn't comply with the simple and practical standards laid down.

@ Serenity
I have told Jonny about the transpanency problem.
It's due to a quirk in IE.
If you want, I could make them all proper gifs and host them on my server ...?

The new smileys are suave and cool looking, though their meaning seems less obvious from a glance. That's largely due to the 16x16 size, so of course 24x24 would alleviate this. However, the downside of 24x24 is that they would probably disrupt spacing between lines a little, which would make formatting appear a little off.

The forum could probably use more emoticons, probably just some basic ones. I prefer ones that don't have heavy animation because animated-anything can be quite distracting, especially when used heavily in a post or frequently throughout the forum.

Also, we could have a poll to decide whether the current emoticons should be replaced with something newer, which is a separate proposal than simply adding new ones.

Comments are welcome.
