My screen is 1920x1200, which could make a difference? Or is it Vista?

Also, I removed all the redundant spaces, which makes it harder for a browser to find a place to break a long line... If you still get the horizontal scrolling, I’d add some white space. But it is only for fun, so don’t take it seriously.

It works, what I meant by "breaks" was the horizontal scrolling. (which is fixed now)...

What browser is affected?

...lets all be clear I'm talking about the horiz scrolling...(the JavaScript for Crazy Images works {well on some pages, but that's not the point})...the horiz scrolling problem (is now fixed, but) was on my 1024x768 Firefox 2.0.0.9 WinXP...I almost never have horiz scrolling during my infrequent uses of IE...IE will wrap a line on alot more chars, for example (){}[] & others...Firefox seemingly never breaks a line, cept on space & maybe a few chars...

...sorry what?..."breaks" = horiz scrolling or no horiz scrolling?...remember past tense, it's "fixed" now, but what was it before, for you?

...yes a very wide screen will make horiz scrolling less likely...& impossible in IE...I always browse with a fullscreen window, but perhaps you could resize your window to 1024 wide to check for horiz scrolling, occasionally?

...yes I normally remove spaces in a bookmarklet, but in this case I would either...1) use a continuation section...or 2) put a few spaces in it...like every 50 chars...

Laszlo wrote:

...Firefox REALLY needs patched to wrap on MORE chars (here's hoping for Firefox 3)...it's the best browser, but really annoying in some places...I'm sure there's a "standard" somewhere prohibiting Firefox from wrapping on more that just the space char...lol...damn standards!...

...with the continuation section I don't have horiz scrolling anymore...but this forum needs some fixup code, like the Code blocks are modified, some extra JavaScript could fixup long lines, possibly by adding <wbr> tags...if those still work...
