Probably not possible and if it was, it would be definatly not practical.
This is the reason.
AHK is make with C++.
C++ can make OSs.
But AHK to OS is 2nd hand and is quite a streach.
If you want to make an OS use C++ or similar low-level language.
However I' sure you can make an OS with C++ that incorporates AHK in it.
Hope this helped.  |

| C++ has low level and high level functions and it is largly considered a low-medium level language. |

AHK is equivalent to the Turing machine, you can write everything in it. So also OS. Just write a compiler first.

LOL, you can do everything in every low level language, which doesn't hold true for high level. _________________ Waiting for Windows 8... |

Finaly somebody sane....
| Quote: | | C++ isnt a lowlevel language |
As C++ is the same as C with smarter structures, and C is the next step after assembler, I would say that C++ is pretty low.

Sentences of this kind don't hold any useful information.

There you go. That means you can automate Windows in Turing machine, right ? You should know where theory from your IT classes is applicable. _________________

Sure you can. The thread is about possibilities, not whether they are reasonable. _________________ Waiting for Windows 8... |
