| I am offended by a username on this forum. Someone is posting as 'God'. My God does not use computers. |

Well now. There is no need to post as a guest. Just change your username to Offended. _________________ ScriptPad/~dieom/dieom/izwian2k7/Trikster/God

It wouldn't be in the best interests of AutoHotkey to enforce political correctness but if you feel particularly offended the best thing you can do is contact the person via PM. If Chris believes something is too sensitive for this forum i.e. phrases that are unsuitable for minors or anything that runs the risk of getting the site blacklisted, it will be removed. Users should bear in mind the nature of this website and respect others in this free and open community. _________________

Then surely there will be no confusion
Not sure who your God is, but mine said "I came not into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through me might be saved." If he didn't need to, I don't either. |

I don't see anything particulary offending for young Ian to use God nickname as its scientificaly proven that God doesn't exist in the sense religion is telling us. So, if charachter in question is purely fictional (or methaphisical, or political), its the same as I choosed the name "Donald Duck".
Particular people may be offended by it, as they are beleivers, but again, that is their private thing, somebody may be offended by "Donald Duck" too.
After all, thats why we have ateists and beleivers _________________

Personally, I am much more offended by those who give my religion a bad name than I am those who just happen to have a different religion, or those who post under the name "God". Actually, the latter two of the above don't offend me, either, so long as there's not talk of mass extermination of any particular large groups of people. I take exception to genocide.
I also find it to be offensive to some extent when, rather than civilly disagreeing with the opinion of another poster, that they try to get mods to step in and enforce political correctedness and create an atmosphere of censorship. So far, I've not seen an internet environment where people feel at ease when there is a lot of censorship. From what I've witnessed, people just tend to get more uptight in that kind of environment with arguments over who started it and who should be censored and who shouldn't.
C'mon, people. There's a time to grow up and have a nice warm cup of get over it. _________________ “yields falsehood when preceded by its quotation” yields falsehood when preceded by its quotation. |

Lol! Is this a serious thread? Because you know what offends me?... The fact that life is 100% fatal.
But really now... "God" is just a job description, not a name. ¬_¬ _________________ My Home Thread

| I don`t care about how or if the user names itself "god". May be he is a troll and offends, but who cares? He even not named directly the "name of a god". |

Ok. This has apperantly evolved into a simple mis-understanding. This topic has been resolved and should be dropped. _________________ ScriptPad/~dieom/dieom/izwian2k7/Trikster/God

Majkinetor,
Scientifically proven?
This is more stupid then when you had a fight about my Temperature functions.
It cant be "scientifically" proven
You have no proof to me that God doesnt exist
Perhaps you might find some but I know its wrong
So shut up and go run back to your mommy
PS:
Still smoking that crack? _________________ check out my site

True, we cannot prove such things. However, we can prove that this "God" has not done the things said of Him/Her. Let's not turn this into a debate though. The last thing I want is for something so sientific (AHK) to be poisoned with religion. _________________ ScriptPad/~dieom/dieom/izwian2k7/Trikster/God
