This has nothing to do with AHK, per se... but if you spend a lot of time coding or writing AHK scripts with multiple windows open, or you just like keeping a tidy taskbar/systray, you should try this program.

Allows you to reorder your task/tray icons with simple drag-drop of the mouse.

There is an AHK solution that does exactly this.

Wow, I never thought this thread would suddenly garner so much attention a month later. Thanks everyone for the huge list of alternatives!

Now to figure out how to determine if Explorer (shell) has crashed and re-launched, so scrambled (generally reversed) taskbar items can be re-sorted or un-reversed, eventfully.
