TBH, I like Valik for the reason that his statements are real entertainment. So check [this] out.

Btw. Some of us might not be happy with the way our moderators acting from time to time, but if you compare it to the way it's done on other forums, it could be worse, right?!! Very Happy

So, my salute goes to our moderators & to all AHK users out there who will accept that if there's a problem - one part of it is themself, and therefore the easiest way to solve a problem, is to care about that specific 50% in the first instance. Because you've to support us to support you.

Happy scripting folx Cool

@ AutoIT users
just in case someone of you gets the weird idea that this thread is about to critizise anyone of your community. No. It isn't. So stay cool. Thx

Looks like you've to be registered to be able to access/hotlink a specific thread out there. Confused

@ Ray Charles, Steve Wonder & other braille friends !! The following isn't a thread within the AHK Forum !! It's an excerpt from an parallel scripting universe. Smile

I thought your title suggests to replace the "Human Moderators" with a BOT.

Don't even think about it! The next step would be to replace the users with a BOT as well Laughing

I partially agree with Valik. Developers such as Chris spend a lot of time and energy in projects like this one and get hardly anything in return. It costs nothing to express a little gratitude and good manners, but alas people nowadays are too ignorant to show even that much. Moderators are hand picked by the admins to help them safeguard the forum which also requires a lot of patience. It's unfortunate that some have to be jealous about this and harass them - which is especially true in gaming sites (GMs in Wow and pmods in RS for instance) and small communities like this. What's worse is that some try to demonize mods for their actions; nobody is perfect, but if you are unhappy with a decision there are many ways it can be dealt with maturely and effectively, rather than say, removing all your contributions in protest.

If the majority of the forum'ites feel more comfortable with a BOT, then why not ? Should not people get what they deserve ?

I totally disagree with Valik. "Ignorance" should not be dealt with "Arrogance" but with "Ignore it" kind of attitude.
I had always felt Mr.Chris has been highly tolerant towards the noobish attitude and thereby sets a good example for the Moderators.

Just my 5 paise. Smile
