I voted for SciTE, but I haven't tried PSPad or Notepad++ yet. _________________ [Join IRC!]

The answers you get will be highly dependent on the person answering. Most people haven't tried more than 2 or 3 editors for an extended period. Similar to "what is the best language," your answer is likely to be the one you've spent the most time with and know more about.
My editor of choice (in general, not just for ahk) is PSPad. |

I've tried PsPad, TextPad and Notepad++, but I think that Notepad++ can collapse our script into "branches/trees" more easily!
| Code: | Function() {
{ ;First Part
MsgBox First part
}
{ ;Second Part
MsgBox Second part
}
} |
Notepad++: 100%
TextPad: 85%
PsPad: 80%
Notepad: 1% (emergency only!) |

| I've been happy with HiEditor (there's a syntax file somewhere here on the forum). |

ultraedit. I've been through notepad++, pspad, editpad.
notepad2 for quick editing, or on scripts with only one file (no includes) |
