This is a very interesting project: Bersirc. It aims to be an IRC client that works on Win32/*nix/MacX. It's small and lean. Very good programming it seems (though I'm no expert)... Sourceforge Projectpage.
More interesting is the Claro library, that creates the GUI. On Windows it's a tiny dll (only 88k on my disk), yet it manages to handle the GUI. Claro is also ported/portable to *nix/MacX... It also has a Sourceforge Projectpage.

Might be worth looking into? Maybe some code can be used to optimize the existing AutoHotkey code? And maybe this could be a basis for a *nix/MacX compatible AutoHotkey?  _________________ (sorry, homesite offline atm) |
