Is the open source of 320MPH on the first page the same as the last (compiled) nDroid (v2.1.3)?

If not, what is the main reason for closing nDroid's source (if I may ask this question here)? Or is the difference between the older 320MPH and nDroid 2.1.3 so small that we can use 320MPH to understand the internal behaviour of nDroid? Thanks.

Actually, no, they're considerably different.

And for why, well you can take it as like some softwares have a latest paid version and a quite old 'free' version, nDroid has a latest free version and an old open-source version.
And yes, if your remove the latest developments, the last posted source is where nDroid came from, and can be looked at for understanding.
I hope that helped.

It all looks very cool, but it just seemed faster for me to click what I wanted in the start menu, rather than having to type it Sad

I was a little confused with it as well.....Many of the functions seemed to only give weaker versions of other plugin/programs, such as torrent search. I havent looked at the source code, but often it will not come up with any results when i search for things on my computer. it doesnt appear to actually be searching. im guessing it just searches recently used apps or something.

1 tiny thing you should change though is for it not to forget action you are using every time you minimize it.

sorry to sound a little negative, its just i think you should not concentrate so much on speed, but more on functionality. dont worry if you disagree however Smile

Yes, keeping the last used setting would be interesting (as in many applications).

oh its basically meant for keyboard lovers. Start Menu here complains a lot about not being loved anymore, but I've found my calling.

Thats just a simple plugin example, please feel free to write a better one.

There's a 'Path List' setting you need to modify in nDroid's settings to let it know where you'd like to search. Its not set to scan all drive's all folders.

It remembers the last launched item. For all other actions, the support will probably be there in a later version.

Thanks

Actually after rethinking again, that's not a problem at all if you define for all your beloved actions appropriate hotkeys!

I have been using this program for a few weeks now and loving it so far, however my anti virus (AVG) now says nDroid is a "Trojan horse PSW.Agent.SAO" and forces me to quarantine it.

Anyone else having this problem?

Possibly nDroid uses UPX?
http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/topic29326.html
and a UPX free version might be OK. Or if the source
is released at some point you could run the script Wink

@ HugoV
Thank you very much for the Total Commander script posted here http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=140349#140349
I'm only interested in searching for directories and this one is simply perfect. My question is, I want the script to scan only ONE fixed drive ( i.e G:\ ) , I'm relatively new to AHK so be gentle Wink
Props to Rajat for the original work!
