|
|
Anyone interested in a syntaxfile for Crimson Editor? I'm working on it now. Will post it when done. I already did other syntaxfiles for Crimson (bat, g4c, aut), but all need updating, so it can take a while...
I need to see them colors...
In the meantime, try this utility I wrote for Crimson Editor...
| Quote: | -----------------------------------------------------------------
Run command for Crimson Editor, version 0.3
-----------------------------------------------------------------
What is it for?:
- Lets you run AutoIt2, AutoIt3, AutoHotkey, Gui4Cli and DOS-Batch files/scripts directly from within Crimson Editor with one hotkey.
Why would I need it?:
- The advantage of this script/executable over Crimson Editor's built in User Tools is that you only need one "Run" User Tool in Crimson Editor, one hotkey to run a file/script. There's no need to distinguish between filetypes anymore, no multiple UserTools/hotkeys are needed to run a file/script according to filetype. The script/executable will distinguish between filetypes and call the necessary programs accordingly. You can add your own extensions with a few simple steps.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
|
I do sometimes get strange errormessages from AutoHotkey, when scripts are run thru this... seems to have to do something with the working directory...
Comments are welcome... _________________ (sorry, homesite offline atm)

If you have extra time, perhaps you could even make an installer script for it such as:
Extras\Editors\TextPad\Run this to install syntax and clip library files for TextPad.ahk
And if you have even more time, you could make a generator script for it similar to:
Extras\Editors\Syntax\Scripts\Generate TextPad.ahk |

Will do...
I just realised the first version of my ce_run script dates back to 2002 ...
It's an AutoIt 2.x script, but still useable... _________________ (sorry, homesite offline atm) |

First version available, download here: ahkSyntaxFile4CrimsonEditor.zip
Tell me what you think, or what should be different.
I tried to get Crimson to color the hotkey definitions too, but I didn't succeed.
If all is right, I'll build the installer script. _________________ (sorry, homesite offline atm)

Nice!
Thank you for this information. I was a vivid Crimson Editor user before, now I'm using PSPad, but this is definitely worth looking at... _________________ (sorry, homesite offline atm) |
