Hi all,
Just an old man (40 ) about to move into scripting after having done non at all apart from BBC Micro in the 80s LOL.
The support you give each other is damn impressive and i look forward to stretching myself coming to terms with this.
If i do ask a question it is because i have not found it during a search or i have just had a bit of brain fade.
looking forward to some fun and frustration( hmmm just like being married)
cheers
Mike |

Hey juggle-Mike,
it is never too late, and you have picked the right place and the right tool.
the help file is very nice and easy, and the forum is very supportive.
have you picked your text editor yet?
good luck. |

That would be the language you learn right after AHK (so long as it's not Cobol).
AHK-the-system-library is what's brought AHK fame, and deservedly so. AHK-the-language, not so much (except among those who have few things to compare it to).
Yet still we insist on devoting development time on slowly improving the nascent language, even though there are several fast mature ones available, and even though history shows that AHK devs have been most successful at innovating the system library, and less so on the language side.
