Id like too send the connect/pause etc command too programs like alt.binz, bitcomet etc. But im not sure howto find out what command to send that the respective programs will recognize or howto send it in the 1st place. Sorry im quite new to all this.

search for a process explorer. if you don't understand how it works you may need to find help with windows messages and how they work.

ye ok thanks i get using PIDs etc and i got all that working. But now i cant find a list of commands applicable to certain apps. I found windows close (0xF060) and minimize and 2 or so others. neone know where to find a list?

This works too but i what i wanted was how to find commands specific to the apps. Like in the winamp example it passes commands specific to winamp...?

Winspector is typically used to discover such messages.
