I would like to move a page down (=down) select a page in Adobe Acrobat (=ctrl-a), copy the selected part (=ctrl-c), but here's my problem: I would like to do this without having to activate Adobe Acrobat. Why? So I could continue working with other softwares and the copying is working (silently in a non distracting way) in the background. Any ideas how to accomplish this?

Well you could probably accomplish that easier with another pdf reader.

It exists some CLi based pdf readers that doesnt extract graphics.

Try download.com

What is different in "CLi based pdf readers" in terms of not activating a window?

Cli is not GUI.
You can make a batch file to start the Cli-based program in background.

You dont need adobes bugs.

If you must use autohotkey i can not help you sorry..

Thanks, I'll try to find appropriate command line pdf readers. But on the other hand the GUI method would be also interesting for learning purposes.
