has anyone been able to compile a version of notepad2 with authotkey syntax highlighting?
or is there a hack somewhere to add this functionality? thank you. |

I've requested this ages ago from Flo (the developer of Notepad2). Unfortunately he wasn't really interested at that time.
In a following release he has removed Notepad2's bookmark functionality (which I've decided to hate him for ).
Well, Notepad2 is a Scintila based editor (like SciTE). You should find'm at the forum too. Therefore it shouldn't be a problem (for someone who knows how to compile it) to create a 'basic' AHK-Editor (btw a standalone executable), which could be part of the AHK distribution!

hey BoBo¨. thanks for the reply.
I do have more heavy weight text editors such as pspad and ultraedit but I noticed I end up using Notepad2 more often than I planned to. Opens up quick,with enough features. Probably that's why. I just want it to have ahk syntax and that would be perfect (at least for me) |

it wasnt any problem getting scite and sc1 to work with SH+intellisense but i get nothing with notepad2. |
