I've requested this ages ago from Flo (the developer of Notepad2). Unfortunately he wasn't really interested at that time.

In a following release he has removed Notepad2's bookmark functionality (which I've decided to hate him for Mad).

Well, Notepad2 is a Scintila based editor (like SciTE). You should find'm at the forum too. Therefore it shouldn't be a problem (for someone who knows how to compile it) to create a 'basic' AHK-Editor (btw a standalone executable), which could be part of the AHK distribution!

Good luck. Cool

hey BoBo¨. thanks for the reply.

I do have more heavy weight text editors such as pspad and ultraedit but I noticed I end up using Notepad2 more often than I planned to. Opens up quick, with enough features. Probably that's why. I just want it to have ahk syntax and that would be perfect (at least for me)

What about to ask this at the Intellisense/ISense thread? You should not forget to mention that Notepad2 is a SciTE-clone/derivate.
