hello,
via the winXP volumecontrol panel in my soundcards input-options i am
able to pass the microphone, the cd, line in and the stereomix through
to the soundcard audio input. so when i want to record from mic, i just
open this channel or if i like to record "what i hear" i open stereomix.

so now my question: is it possible to pass just (eg) winamp through to
the audio-input but not (eg) my gamesound?

maybe someone´s here who knows about that stuff...
