|
|
I'm writing a small application that has a need for the Tab2 gui contol, but I am unsure how to create a new column for controls on that tab.
If I make a tab like this:
| Code: | | Gui, Add, Tab2, w680, Current Ship|Item Info|Options |
And then change to that tab with:
And finally I try to create 2 drop down controls:
| Code: | Gui, Add, DropDownList, vTypeChoice, Ships||Consumable|Guns|Bombs|Reactor Plants|Subligh Drives|Armor|Addons|Emitters|Mounts|FTL|Capacity|Alien Technology
Gui, Add, DropDownList, ys vItemChoise, Warbird||Javelin|Spider|Leviathan|Terrier|Weasel|Lancaster|Shark
|
The first one is placed in the tab and the second one is placed to the right of the entire tab control. Any ideas? |

Have you tried specifying x and y coords within the window for the dropdowns? They should place by default but Tabs have been known to have some bugs. _________________ Have trouble searching the site for information? Try Quick Search for Autohotkey. |

Even when I tried like:
Gui, Add, Edit, x100 y50
It placed it to the right of the tab control, even though 100,50 lands inside the existing tab control. |

What's your full script (or the full relevant part)? _________________ Have trouble searching the site for information? Try Quick Search for Autohotkey. |

| Try using SmartGUI Creator to create your GUI, then implement your script to it. Much easier. |

It appears to place the dropdowns fine for me, exactly like it's supposed to without them being anchored by x-y coords. I think Vinthian might be right, try SmartGUI to put your GUIs together, see if they come out correctly. _________________ Have trouble searching the site for information? | I've been battling a cold all day and I guess I must have mispoke myself. The above code will place the dropdowns one on top of the other, but I was trying to get them to be next to each other. The ys option places the second dropdown to the right of the tab control, as does anchoring it with x/y coordinates. |

This works fine on my end, places the controls side by side like you're looking for. _________________ Have trouble searching the site for information? Try Quick Search for Autohotkey. |

| I'm ashamed to say all this time I forgot the first control needed "section". Thanks a lot. |
