Hi,
I recently downloaded windows .net framework 3.5... didn't like the way my computer performed and used "system restore," to go back to better times.

Now I no longer have the ability to restore anything, cannot open anything such as: "The catalogue can be found at the following location- http://www.autohotkey.com/wiki/index.php?title=Script_Listing" ... cannot send e-mail and a host of other things... windows media player can't open, "we're sorry but msn has to close blah blah blah." All I get is script errors every where I go... "Internet Explorer Script Error, "An error has occurred in the script on this page," "Error in loading DLL." "Do you wish to continue running scripts on this page?" I've gone the whole microsoft IE script error solution route to no avail... I run WXP.

Sorry, don't know what BBCode is.

Please help if you can... I've been pulling my hair out since this happened and I'm down to only a few left.

Thanks,
Nicholas55

I must warn you before Troll flames you, that this in no way involves AHK, which is what the forum pertains to. If you are lucky, someone may have had a problem similar to yours and feel like helping you, but I would believe there's a substantial chance that you won't receive help in this forum.

Have you tried the windows xp help forum at http://support.microsoft.com/?

Thanks,

I wasn't aware of that... no harm in trying though... yeah?

I've tried every thing I can think of, including what you have suggested. Hopefully some one will come along with an idea and save me from what I'm about to do. I've got the hammer ready. However, I'll give it some more time.
