I have had Sirius Satellite radio for over three months now. I am loving it so much that i dont think i will go back to any other type of radio. the no commericals is really fitting into my commerical free life style.
No pop ups on my PC!
No commericals on TV! (I use a TIVO like thing to DVR all the worth while shows to watch)
No Commericals on my Radio!
now if i could only get those pesky signs off the side of the free way I will have a commerical free life! lol
Very Happy

wow I didnt think that some one would like an ipod over anything.

question.. do you have a hacked ipod? and if not.. why?

the only good ipod is a hacked one (or dead one) lol

---
Rio makes the best MP3 players for the money and you dont have to hack them to use them like a portable hard drive or anything. and will play MP3 and WMA files.. 40 gigs of WMA is a ton better then 40 gigs of MP3

ummm when is the last time you looked into ipods, I can use my Ipod as a usb harddrive with no modifications whatsoever. I have the new Ipod Photo and it is a hell of a lot better then the older models. IMHO rio blows.

Thought about to buy an I-pod to follow the hype Rolling Eyes (its minimalistic design is great!), but haven't done so far as the battery/accu replacement is a mess. There's no way to do it on your own. You've to send it to A. and it will cost you a fortune Evil or Very Mad. They really know how to get the best out of you - your money Wink

I'm almost possitive one of the bigger Ipod "fan" sites has a guide to replacing your ipod battery yourself. They also sold the battery replacement kit. www.ipodlounge.com I think it was.

In my case i just payed the extra 50 bucks for the 3yr warrenty through best buy they'll give you as many new batterys as you can go through in that 3yr period.

but why go with something that has a name brand when you can get something that has more features for less of a price and not a big name? warrenties on Archos products is great. www.archos.com
they have a 20gig DVR, MP3, WMA, Mpeg4, photo viewer, and video game player all for less than an Ipod that just plays music.. hmmm yeah..

I wont know I-Pod any more. i guess they are good for some users. but for me i like action pack devices that are not main stream.

p.s. Rio is really still the best MP3 gaget guys out there... un less I-pod can make a portable Sirius Satellite reciver/recoder.

I dont have a psp but i hear that they can play music, and if you can play Playstation quality games and listen to music, the iPods might have a little competition. The whole psp community could have every psp owner sold on using their psps as music players if sony did it right.

The word on the street is that PSP's music playing features are decent but substandard compared to dedicated music players. It seems to be a jack of all trades, but only a master of gaming. Still, if you have a PSP, why buy an iPod? Personally if I had the choice, I'd definitely go with PS2's little brother.

the PSP rules! I have been useing it as my primary MP3 player now, beacsue it does have shuffle, and ways of making playlists up. The games are so awesome it is hard to think that they packed it all in to this little thing. Also the Spider Man 2 movie looks very sweet and clear. I already have gotten three people at my work to buy them now. So now we have little "WiFi Lan Parties" at work from our cubes Smile i just hope that boss doesnt find out Wink
any ways yes it does do MPEG 4 and very nicely too. it also does slide shows with pictures (the playboy pics are sweet) but watching Anime on it is nice too.
