I recently formatted my computer and was re-installing programs when I tried to reinstall Office 2007 Enterprise off of my disc. I was pretty shocked to find an AHK file used as their launcher:

So I couldn't help but take a peak inside... was pretty basic stuff.

Guess it means something for AHK to be used as part of one of Microsoft's cash-cow's. Smile

Cool

This should definitely be mentioned in the "letter to the anti-virus companies", I mean, if Microsoft themselves use AutoHotkey, they better dare not flag no AHK-executables as virusses no more Wink

Err, now that I take a better look, I'm not sure this is official, and: you better edit your post, there are serials in there... Rolling Eyes

My 'warez meter' picked up a 28% probability from that script, but in case it's legit, I also recommend masking those serials. I wonder if anyone else can try to decompile some other small executables from M$ installers. That would be interesting...

i don't see Launcher.ahk in Office Ultimate 2007 version
and the tree look like not retail. isn't 'All In One' or something like that?

From I was told, it was a cd copy of a legit Office 07 Enterprise disc in the same office. Looks like a lie.

Well, the copy can be legit, but the added/replaced Launcher with auto-serial-insert is not by Microsoft. Wink

True, he might have added that to simplify the process for others.

You might want to change the title of the topic as well...
Or add the new info in the initial topic.
Actually, having a .ahk file without installing AHK is pretty useless, so it was not very believable... Very Happy

Note, this Third Edition does not make any changes to Office 2007 (see below).

This is a full version of Microsoft Office 2007 (US English only with language pack links) packed into a CD image (.iso) containing:
*Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007
- Access 2007
- Excel 2007
- Groove 2007
- InfoPath 2007
- OneNote 2007
- Outlook 2007
- PowerPoint 2007
- Publisher 2007
- Word 2007
*Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2007
*Microsoft Office Project 2007
*Microsoft Expression Web (new FrontPage)

It also contains a launcher application I made myself, source code is in ISO file Smile

The serials are written in by the launcher application...
